Frequently asked questions
Frequently Asked Questions
Clear, honest answers about biohazard and crime scene cleanup in Arizona.
Do I need to clean the affected area myself?
No. You do not need to clean the affected area yourself. If law enforcement, emergency personnel or other authorities have released the scene, contact Arizona Bio Services for professional biohazard remediation.
When are you available?
Call 877-737-2396 for emergency and scheduled biohazard cleanup. We'll discuss your situation and timing when you call.
Which areas do you serve?
The Phoenix metropolitan area is our primary service area, including Phoenix, Gilbert, Chandler, Mesa, Scottsdale, Tempe, Queen Creek, Glendale, Peoria, Surprise, Goodyear, Avondale, San Tan Valley, Paradise Valley, Fountain Hills and Apache Junction. We do not maintain physical offices in every city — we serve each community as a mobile emergency response operation. Other Arizona locations may be served by arrangement — call to ask. Availability for each request is confirmed when you call.
Will insurance cover biohazard cleanup?
It depends on the circumstances and your policy. Homeowners, commercial or other applicable insurance may cover some biohazard remediation expenses. With your authorization, we can assist with the insurance claim process when coverage applies, and available project documentation is discussed during the assessment and before work begins. We never guarantee coverage, reimbursement or claim approval, so call us before you pay out of pocket.
Is the work handled discreetly?
Yes. Sensitive situations are handled professionally and respectfully, and details are shared only as needed to do the work. Discreet service with unmarked vehicles available upon request, subject to availability.
What happens after I call?
We follow a clear process: we assess the affected area and determine the appropriate remediation scope, contain it to help prevent cross-contamination, contain and package contaminated materials that must be removed (transport and disposal arrangements are discussed during the assessment and agreed before work begins), clean and disinfect affected surfaces, and finally review the work area with you so you can plan next steps such as reoccupation or restoration.
